Light sheet microscopy seems to be all the rage right now. But what’s behind it? This lecture will cover the basic principles of the technique, its advantages and disadvantages, and how it has been integrated by microscopy labs and companies. You will also learn about common applications of light sheet microscopy and we can discuss how it might be of use for your research.
Level: Beginner to intermediate. You have some understanding of light microscopy and are interested in new technical developments.

The NIC/IDAC Educational Lectures are held every other Thursday in Warren Alpert Room 563 from 12pm-1pm. They are open to anyone with a Harvard or Harvard affiliate ID (and guests of those with Harvard IDs), and registration is not required.
