Transmitted Light Techniques

This is a one day workshop (usually 10am-3:30pm with a break for lunch) that is both lecture and hands-on laboratory exercises. We cover both theoretical and practical information that will help you get the best possible transmitted light images!

Topics covered include:

• The transmitted light path
• Alignment of the transmitted light path for koehler illumination
• Phase, DIC & darkfield
