This is a one day workshop (usually 10am-3:30pm with a break for lunch) that is both lecture and hands-on laboratory exercises. We cover both theoretical and practical information that will help you get the acquire the best possible digital images!

• Design of research grade cooled CCD cameras
• How to choose the best camera for your application
• Dealing with camera noise
• How to acquire a good digital image
• Basic image processing
